Our review <3
Scent: The scent is the first thing i always notice with any product and from this Botanical Shampoo i automatically gained a beautiful senses of earthly botanicals with a dash of lemony rosemary and a dusting of lavender. This has a wonderful light scent to both myself and Diva R leaving a very delightful first impression :)
Color: Honey :)
Texture:The texture is of a very light smooth mixture of diluted honey and silk, just amazing and soft and is not your average shampoo texture. Alot of shampoos have your typical thick and sticky consistency requiring alot to lather. This Botanical shampoo only takes a small amount to create a cloud like lather covering your entire head.
On to our experimenting :)
A little goes a LONG way with this shampoo, on Diva R's hair i use only a quarter size amount and it covers her entire head building a fluffy lather while the fresh scent of the lemony rosemary captivates my sences. I choose leave the shampoo in for a minute or two for extra cleansing and then i rinse it out with warm water. I noticed that her hair was so smooth and lustrous after using the shampoo consistently with and without conditioners even, it moisturized her hair while being washed and it lasted there after which most shampoos leave her hair feeling dry and coarse until i apply a conditioner and moisturizer. I could note a texture change after i washed her hair with this shampoo compared to others we have on hand and and it was a great change that i haven't experienced in her hair after being shampoo'd. The retaining of moisture was very good and long lasting.
When i would just use the Botanical Shampoo with no following conditioners or moisturizers her hair would be frizz-less, moisturized and not crazily puffy as if i did use conditioners! A medium toothed comb seriously slid through her hair like a warm knife through butter. and her hair stayed manageable all day. I didn't even have to apply a moisturizer afterwards.
When i did use a rinse out conditioner (Bee Mine Avocado Cream Balanced Conditioner) after using the Botanical shampoo it only intensified the moisture distribution and penetration that was already present from the incredible shampoo lather, marveling me and pleasantly filling the bathroom with this pleasant burst of almondly creamy avocado mixed with lemony rosemary Diva R was pleased intrigued by the fun-ness of the great smells also :) This Botanical shampoo is recommended as a great compliment with the Bee Lovely Conditoner. I found is to be a great compliment with the Avocado conditioner as well.
I predict that this bottle will last us months since a little bit goes such a long way at each wash :)
This shampoo was a great experience for us and we are so blessed to have been able to review such a great product line :) Bee Mine Botanical Moisturizing Shampoo deserves a HI-5 in our book :) I would recommend this shampoo for anyone to try :).
