We began using this in December of 2010 and this was the first Bee Mine Product we tried.

This shea butter and aloe based curly butter is packed with rich moisturizing nutrients to give you long lasting moisture and promote growth. It has a soft touchable hold that will help to defrizz your frizzes and give great definition. This Curly Butter is wonderful for twists, finger curls, puffs/pony tails and especially for laying down unruly hair. Great for naturals, relaxed, texlaxed, everyone.

Our Review
Upon first sight the curly butter looks like a creamy whipped textured fluff and smells incredible ( even though it says unscented it is but has a slight scent and its just heavenly). You can really feel the Aloe Vera Gel in it ( which is a great gel for growth and healing). The claim is that this butter is for finger curling, twists, braids, pony's, naturals, relaxed, textured, everyone and stubborn frizzies. It is like a "holding butter" in place of using a gel for hold that normally would build up on your hair, make it dry due to the alcohol contents and leave a sticky residue.
We have used this daily since the time we got it and it has done wonderfully. I seriously love everything about this Curly Butter! Diva R has natural frizzies that are just there and nothing can hold them down so we didn't expect this too, but for as light as it is it provides the most lovely hold. We use it interchangeably with other Bee Mine Products as well as by its lonesome and i have found that it works great with all of them and can be used on all hair types. This is 100% organic and natural and in our opinion is a great product it is light weight, doesn't leave gunk behind, isn't greasy, sticky or oily. This can be used in freely hanging hair or styled hair. I would also say that this is great as a light holding butter not being expected to be like a strong holding gel.
This is also great on wet and dry hair. We bought the 16oz container and it is still lasting us today :) I have used this on REALLY coarse hair and really fine hair also and it was just immaculate in both. I used the Bee Mine Luscious Balanced Cream Moisturizer prior to putting the CB on and it just drank and absorbed it like the hair has never been moisturized with a great definition and hold. We give a Hi-5 to this product, from the beginning Diva R wanted the *Bee Butter* like she has seen other little girls using on hair blogs :) So we got it and we LOVE it :)
I would recommend this for ALL hair types, this is also light enough for little ones curlees, safe as well due to its pureness.
**UPDATE: IT has been 6 months now since we first began using this Bee Mine Curly Butter and i must say that we are on our 2nd tub now! We tried the unscented first and now the Mango, 16oz tub lasted us with Diva and me using it 6 months!! and i really use a decent amount each time i use it. If i had to rate all of the products we have on hand right now i would rate this as being our best, most cherished and favorite! I use this every time i cornrow and it makes them last as well as it provides a great nourishing sheet on Diva's Curlee's that will last lovely in place all day. I do have to say that i like the unscented so much more, there's just something about the unscented-ness that is just amazing! I have used this as my gel substitute for my scrunch and go style. This is also one of the few products that made the final cuts through all of Diva R's allergic reactions, allergy flare ups, and the similar. It was meant to bee :)
This product will remain in our collection forever more...
*Update as of 10/2011*
We are on our third 16oz Jar of this amazing Curly Butter and we went back to the Unscented Butter because it had become missed after we switched to the mango, its so hard to explain but the Unscented has us hooked, me in particular ^_^ I have found that we use this more often that before and it seems to be a great multipurpose product for us and i love this probably more than any other product. It is still providing equally amazing results in every way that we use it and this is one product that i highly recommend it works great for us such as a light gel would without the build up and it is also a frizz minimizer that serves as an amazing wash and go butter! This is one that i will still keep as my right hand plan product. There is not a style i cannot use this in and it not make it POP :)
