Back To School Hair Style Day 2 (Re-make)

Diva R's second day of school arrived quickly so my thought was to re-create her previous style and incorporate some Bantu Knots since its been a little bit. Since the style was pretty much in place and looking good from the previous day there wasn't much i had to do.

The first thing i did was spritz her hair with our distilled water generously after she woke up the following morning. Then i patted some of our Juicy Spritz into her hair and began taking out her pink and black Sidewinders with small ending pony beads.

I find it very important to make sure her ends are coated nicely with a THICK cream moisturizer regularly whether her hair is styled or not and especially if beads are involved.  With this being said i finger scooped some of our Bee Mine Luscious Balanced Cream Moisturizer and applied it generously to the last 3 inches of her braids. I let it soak in for 5 minutes and then i applied a few of our black and white 2 inch Sidewinders to match today's choice in outfit with small pony beads at each end to secure them in place. Diva R also requested her heart beads, so i incorporated those on the back section of her hair.

I didn't see the need to re touch any of her cornrows so those were left as-is. Then i took her pig tails down and generously coated the two sections with some Curly Butter and finger combed/detangled. I applied some of the Luscious to the mids-ends of the sections in preparation for being braided into one single braid each and then Bantu Knotted.

I did one section at a time and just simply wrapped the braid around itself and secured it in place with 2 pony tail holders per side. I repeated this for the other side and we've now accomplished a 2 in 1 style. Topped off with our Juicy Spritz as our light moisturizer of choice.

This re-creation or touch up style took 10 minutes and she was rocking a fresh new style for her second day of school! She is partial to Bantu Knots for some reason :) I don't mind either because these are super easy and stay nicely in place not to mention how versatile and cute they are.
