I must extend a HUGE THANK YOU and HUG to Natalie from Cocoa Curlz for blessing us with this set of products from her NEW product line to try and review. We received The trio set of the Cocoa Curlz Cutie Kit.
I first began using this hair milk by its lonesome and per the recommendations of Natalie, this hair milk is said to preform best on wet hair. I made sure Diva R's hair was freshly washed and still wet before i applied it for the first time. So i had to check the product out as usual and the first thing i noticed was how liquidy the hair milk was in the bottle, it has a really liquidy texture but not the same as a liquid such as water, it has a slight more of a texture to it. This is the first product like this we have tried as far as its consistency is concerned. I had an initial feeling that this may be excellent so right away i had to use it and see what it was all about.

(Check out Precious-Curls review for her perspective on the hair milk and a peek at the consistency)

The pic below is of her freshly washed, conditioned and wet hair BEFORE the Moisturizing hair milk was applied.

We had a choice in scents and we chose the Candy scent :) This would be a first for Diva R and i have never tried any candy scented products that were organic, so this was exciting!  (The other choice was coconut and we didn't want to go that route.)  SO I first began with 2 squirts on half of her head and since this is such a light consistency i ended up being comfortable with using 2-3 squirts per side because i like generous coverages. From trying it on Diva R's wet hair i really LOVE the texture, scent and easy of application as well as the final product results!! I am really blown away with this hair milk i feel this was formulated exactly perfect for Diva R's type and texture. Her hair being on the finer side as it is consistency is an important element in her natural hair care regime this texture is amazing!
Ive used this multiple times since we've received it and the results have just pleased me more each time i used it, with her hair being wet it just soaked up the milk instantly and the feel of her hair was very soft and her curls just sprung into her natural curly ringlets...  It stayed in place and performing nicely for hours and the soft candy scent was still present Diva R loved getting a breeze through her hair because she could smell the candy as she would say <3

I moved on to trying it on her hair while it was damp which would be about 20 minutes into air drying, give or take, and her hair seemed to do ok with it being damp too and with this being a thinner consistency milk i parted her hair in 6 random sections for easier applying because when her hair drys it gets poof-ier and poof-ier as the day goes, so this would make for a more even distribution.  I still used the same amount as i did when her hair was wet (the dampness factor really helps) I was satisfied with those results as well :)

I tried the hair milk when her hair was completely air dried and i had to get to pumping the bottle because her dry hair was much thicker and fuller in its dry state than wet or damp so i had to use a overly considerable amount to cover her whole head.  This is a no brainer though ^-^ I tend to always venture outside of the box with all of the hair products we do come in contact with as well as accessories, clothes shoes and all the nice girly things because sometimes they can be used just better in other fashions, with other complimentary items, mixed around or even prove to be of a lesser quality through wear. So for me i like to work with different products in various ways so i know were not missing out on something potentially great :)

I do LOVE the Candy scent and are so glad that we chose this scent! I Love it on Diva R's hair and it is now the only hair milk that we have in the house! It is the only one that we have been able to find that has such a light consistency to it and it being mostly natural too is nice! I like the overall performance throughout our using it and will definitely apply it when Diva R's hair is wet as Natalie says that's the best time to use the moisturizing hair milk :D

Here are Diva R's results using the Cocoa Curlz Moisturizing Hair Milk...

Another GREAT thing is lately i have been testing certain ingredients on Diva R in the tiniest-decent sized multiple increments to see if she in indeed is allergic to these specific oils by them selves or possibly when hey are mixed with others or of it is some by product parts of the foods being altered through processing. She seems to be fine with almond and coconut oil when they are mixed with other ingredients YAY for improvement! because these were high on the worry list because of her Peanut Allergy which isn't always involved with other nuts :)

Here is an up close shot of her milk'd curlees :)

Also, we decided to do a few overnights tests to see how the hair milk held up overnight under Diva R's sleep cap...

The definition is SCREAMING!!! LOVE IT!. Her hair was not tangle free by any means but her curls were soft and her hair was nicely defined and fluffy <3

Hi5  to Natalie for a great product! Check out her FB Page :)

This is very great in combination with the Cocoa Curlz Hydration Poo and Cutie Pie Conditioner!

Okay I'm ready to throw in the towel. I'm new to the blog world and plans on jumping in running with a blog of my own showing the ups and downs of beings and natural and staying natrula with my princess. But sad to say I've been to 2 major retails stores and 5 beauty stores and I can't find a thing natural to even try on the princess hair.

HELP
