*Shop-Light Alert* Mossy Rock Designs!

Welcome to our 2nd round of our shining of the spotlight upon a blessed shop. We would like to shine the light on Mossy Rocks Designs who's creator and artist Katie contacted me asking for us to share her "Hair-Time" themed art with all of our readers. Now this isn't just any spotlight that we have come across, it was more like an empowerment based spotlight, after i seen her art that urged me to HAVE to get a set of these for my Diva R!!

See what all the commotion is about click here to check out Katie's shop on Etsy, she has many other gorgeous art pieces as well as her most popular "Hair-Time" set.

I thought WOW this gorgeous depiction of natural hair care and the many phases throughout the course of ones hair journey were just remarkable, embracing and an adorably cute addition to any hair princesses or children's hair stylists room/ shop respectively...

Mossy Rock Designs was created in celebration of African Natural Hair Care and the ever so anticipated day that Katie and her husband adopt their daughter from Ethiopia, Katie handcrafted the original artwork her self. Katie is a children's illustrator, and she sells her art on Etsy to help raise money for their ever so anticipated adoption of their daughter from Ethiopia. While thinking about (and day-dreaming about) braiding her little girl's hair, she painted this set of paintings, which she named "Hair Time".
Katie's passion is creating watercolor and ink nursery art, and she has recently finished illustrating 2 childrens' books. Her 2 boys are so excited to have a sister soon!

She has also started her own ACEO 'Everyday-Art' Project, with the goal to paint or draw at least one ACEO every day this year. You can see the daily ACEO on her blog, http://mossyrockdesigns.blogspot.com/

Katie has lived in Germany for more than 20 years, so a lot of her art and photography came into being while traveling throughout Europe.

I had come across these a while back and was just beyond intrigued! Then i find out also that Katie can do custom art as well!!! I may just have to get more! They come in either a set of three 5x7 size portraits or three 2.5x3.5 size portraits. I say the bigger the better!!

For the quality of her art it is beyond worth the cost and when buying these your also helping Katie and her husband get closer to adopting their dear daughter.

ADORABLE!

Thank you for contacting me Katie it was a blessed experience to be able to feature your priceless art!

Everyone look out for our review on our Hair-Time art pieces that we got in the mail yesterday!
