Our Review

Back a short while ago i had won a giveaway through Curly Girl Braids and More and i got the choice to pick the product that i would like to try most from the Curls of the World line and i chose the Curlie Worlie Kids Fragrance Free Conditioner.  I have been in search some time now for another good conditioner and was hoping i would find one soon...

So here is what the conditioner looked like as i pumped about 11 squirts into my palm.  I pumped as many as i did because i noticed right away that this conditioner was very liquidy almost like a liquidy hair milk or lotion.  I have the knowledge that with my daughters hair in particular, thinner based products like this one always require double the usage quantity of the traditional thicker consistency conditioner per application.

Prior to my applying the conditioner to her hair i shampooed her hair and thoroughly rinsed it out. Then i used 11-16 squirts each time i used the conditioner which seems like alot but really it is just enough to cover her roots through tips entirely. It was smooth in texture and it was easy to apply, it just glided on and the unscented-ness of it was kid friendly and my Diva never complained about it burning her eyes.  I thought the scent was just bland but thats what is expected of a fragrance free product which is good, also for children with sensitive skin. I just prefer different types of scents or unscented scents usually.

Here is the before application picture...

Here is the after application picture it was fully rinsed out at this point...

Close up.... Here hair is wet and she was right out of the tub...

So far i can note that this product has the kid friendly quality that is a great plus for younger children.  The list of ingredients is very pleasing and healthy, another huge bonus of it is that parents of children with nut allergies do not have to be worried about using this product as there are no nut elements present.  In my opinion i also feel that this could be benefical to those with hair that is finer in nature, thin or even those with little to no hair.  It is so liquidy in texture that it doesnt seem like it absorbs well into her hair and it is just like putting a lotion in or a leave in conditioner. One way i can tell if a conditioner is really soaking into her hair is if her curls spring up after the conditioner is applied and or rinsed out.  The only thing is that on the label it says that this is a rinse out conditioner. So when i rinse it out it i can't really notice that it is present. I can notice that when her hair is drying that it looks like it turns into a good experience. I liked her wave pattern that popped briefly and her hair was soft for sure, slightly poofy but soft and her curls like to turn to waves and then back to curls as it dried and her curls tend to shrink over night after using this conditoner.

Here is a pic from another usage... This is a before rinse out picture...

I would say that sort of quickly her results diminish quite a bit also, since it is a rinse out on top of being really liquidy and because of how fine the condtioner is and the texture too, i kind of feel that her hair isnt absorbing much benefits... The hubby says that he doesnt like this conditioner he thinks it is too thin and that it doesnt spread well.

Overall i am thankful that we got the opportunity to try this product out and it was also a pleasure reviewing and receiving this product. It just turns out that it is not really for us :)

It does look really thin, I can't tell it's on her hair.
